How It works

As your pet approaches the feeder, it recognizes their microchip or RFID collar tag, only opening for them. It then automatically closes when the cat moves away, preventing all other animals and children gaining access to their food.

  • Works with a pet's existing identification microchip or RFID collar tag (one tag included).
  • Designed for multi-pet homes to stop pets stealing each others' food.
  • Sealed bowl keeps food fresher and free of flies.
  • Ensures that prescription food is consumed by the right pet.
  • 6 months battery life (4 x C cell batteries -– not included).
  • Great for pets on weight management diets.
  • Suitable for both wet and dry food.
  • Feeder opening-Size of the area that your pet will eat from 8 1/4" (W) x 6 1/8" (H)
  • Feeder dimensions-Overall size of the Microchip Pet Feeder 12 5/8" (W) x 7 7/8" (H)

    Happy Cat = Happy Mom

Posted by Ms Jeny on 1st Apr 2016

I love this feeder! My BIG 18 yr. old cat was eating my LITTLE 14 yr. old cat's food that was left when she took a break. I followed the directions for training and within a few days she was able to eat the amount she wanted whenever she wanted and can gain weight. I bought a collar in order to use the tag and now I have less mess, work and stress. It's clean and easy to use. She's happy, I'm happy and he can now loose his extra weight. Thank you!

    Exactly what I needed!

Still in the training mode with one cat but just ordered one for my second. I have a diabetic cat on prescription food and a "normal" eater. Needless to say I was constantly moving food bowls away from one or the other during each of their 4 daily feedings! Closing them in separate rooms didn't work because they wouldn't finish the food in a timely fashion. This bowl is the perfect solution! I love that it works without collars. Can't wait for them both to be fully trained! It's not cheap but if you can save for it, it's totally worth it! Very sturdily made!

    Great feeder

This feeder is the best. The cats don't have to wear a collar, they have microchips and they work perfectly. These feeders have helped our 3 cats keep their weight in the right range. The fat cat gets ONLY his food, and the others get theirs, all separately. The feeders are right next to each other and no one can get into the others food. LOVE THESE!!

    Have three now

I bought one for the grazer then two more for cats on prescription food and so I could be gone for a day. My cats adapted well to them. Please take the training process slowly esp if you have chicken cats. Let them get used to the motion and noise (it isn't all that loud, but it will frighten some cats). Follow the training regimen in the instructions. I have had the first one for over six months now. The batteries are still working. It is a nice solidly built product and I love the convenience of not having to feed the cats all day long due to health issues and competition. When they are hungry, they eat. Yes, it is a little pricey, but it is about the only thing on the market right now using microchips that gets good reviews. Very happy with my investment.

    Fingers Crossed

I have 3 cats, and I plan on buying one of these for each. 1 cat is timid and lets the other two eat all the food, he's constantly starving. 1 cat is a hog and eats everything. And the last cat, the new addition, has horrible UTI's & diarrhea unless he eats special food. This product was tailor made for me. Meal time currently is a constant juggling act - and I'm always dropping the ball. I had no problem linking up the system to the microchip in my timid cat, directions were very clear. And he wasn't as scared by it as I feared. We went a few days on the training cycle to get him used to it, and I believe he "got" it finally. I hope this will especially help with his nightly can of food that he just nibbles at and never gets to finish. One thing I did notice, the sensor stopped working when I had it too close to an electrical outlet. I think the directions mentioned something about this, and I found it to be true. Now I move on to teaching the special diet kitty. These are too expensive for me to buy 3 at a time, so I just buy them as I can afford them. Wish me luck!

    Great Idea!

Posted by Linda on 3rd Jun 2015

We've only had this contraption for 2 days, and my cat doesn't like it so far, but I'm hoping he warms up to the idea. We have one cat who eats ALL the food, and one cat who likes to pick at his dry food throughout the day. The only way I can keep the fat cat out of the dry food is to keep it behind closed doors, and feed the other cat at certain times (which he also doesn't like). My cat doesn't have a microchip, so the first challenge was getting him to wear a collar with the pendant. After a few hours, he was okay with that. I've seen him go up to the pet feeder and take a bite of the food, so I know he knows how to do it. He's an old cat, so he's reluctant to do anything I want him to do. But I still think this is a great product!
