    Almost Perfect

Posted by Philip Jennison on 9th Aug 2016

We have 2 cats. One that adopted us that has been an out door cat his whole life that likes to be able to come and go as he wishes and a new kitten that is an indoor kitty. This was the only cat door on the market that could do both. Got both cats chipped at the vet. We programmed the one so he could go in and out as he wished and the kitten was programmed to let her in only just in case she got out by accident and needed back in. Here is the almost perfect part. Our older cat can get in and out okay but a bigger opening would be better. He is only 12-13 pounds and is finally getting used to the smaller opening but it has taken a lot of hands on to prove to him it was okay. The other thing I would change would be there is no template for cutting the whole. I had to recut the whole 3 times to make it the correct size. Other then those 2 minor changes I would say it is Perfect and it works awesome.

These doors are wonderful; we have been using them for years. The solve all of the usual problems: cat friendly, they let in only ours. No more neighbor cats, no more racoons. I highly recommend this door.
